Is Kromekoteplus acid free?
All Kromekote products are acid free.

Is Kromekoteplus of archival quality?
All Kromekote products comply with ANSI standard Z39.48 and are of archival quality.

Is Kromekoteplus chlorine free?
The virgin fibers we use are elemental chlorine free but secondary fibers used in Recycled Kromekoteplus may not be.

Are any SMART Paper products FDA approved?
No. None of our products are FDA approved for direct or indirect contact.

Is Kromekoteplus lignin free?
Our sheets contain no groundwood. However, trace amounts of lignin may be present due to the secondary fibers (post-consumer content fibers) used in manufacturing our recycled content grades.

Do we emboss Kromekoteplus?
Yes. Kromekoteplus Textures offers four embossed patterns. Please contact your field sales representative for additional embossed patterns.

Can Kromekoteplus C1S be used for heat-set web?
Yes, 6pt and 8pt C1S only.

Can we manufacture Kromekoteplus C2S rolls?
We recommend Kromekoteplus C2S in rolls for tag use. Discuss other applications with your sales representative. A minimum roll order of 2,000 lbs. is required. Kromekoteplus C2S in rolls is not guaranteed for heat-set printing.

Which Kromekoteplus papers are guaranteed for Laser and Inkjet printing?
Kromekoteplus Cover (92 bright white) is suitable for laser printing. Manual-feed may be required. Please check your equipment manufacturers’ guidelines.

Kromekoteplus is not designed for inkjet printing. Look for Kromekote Inkjet Xtra Glossy Picture Paper and Glossy Picture Paper in the SMART Digital section.

Some laser and inkjet equipment will also run cover weights—manual-feed is required in most cases (generally over a 5pt caliper). Refer to your original equipment manufacturer’s guidelines for best results.
