Are Kromekote Litho products acid free?
All Kromekote Litho products are acid free.

Are Kromekote Litho products of archival quality?
All Kromekote Litho products comply with ANSI standard Z39.48 and are of archival quality.

Are Kromekote Litho products chlorine free?
The virgin fibers we use are elemental chlorine free, but secondary fibers may not be. The process we use to manufacture all Kromekoteplus Litho grades is elemental chlorine free.

Are any SMART Papers products FDA approved?
No. None of our products are FDA approved for direct or indirect contact.

Are Kromekote Litho products lignin free?
Our Kromekoteplus Litho grades contain no groundwood. However, trace amounts of lignin may be present due to the secondary fibers (post-consumer content fibers) used in manufacturing our recycled content grades.

Do we emboss Kromekote Litho?
All Kromekote Litho grades can be embossed in box-wrap grades.

FDA Status?
Kromekoteplus Litho grades do not meet FDA direct food contact requirements 21 CFR176.170 and 21 CFR176.180

California Proposition 65 status?
All Kromekote Litho grades are in compliance with California Proposition 65.

CONEG status?
All Kromekote Litho grades are in compliance with CONEG regulations for heavy metal content.

Toy Safety status?
All Kromekote Litho grades are in compliance with ASTM F963-96 section 4.3.5 and Hasbro SRS-12.
