SMART Capabilities
SMART Papers produces more than 93,000
tons of premium coated and uncoated printing papers at our single
mill site in Hamilton, Ohio. Our production facility houses four
paper machines, 22 cast-coating lines and is supported by various
types of paper finishing and converting equipment.
Important and unique SMART capabilities include:

We process standard and custom
blends of virgin, recycled post-consumer and non-wood
fibers in the production of our papers. |

Our cast-coated, blade and rod coating
capabilities enable production of unique coated surfaces
from the highest gloss to the softest matte. |

Computerized on-line color control systems
enable production of uncoated papers ranging from brilliant,
bright whites to deep saturated colors. |

Six embossing units and more than 20 embossing
patterns provide a broad choice in customized finishes
and textures. |

Four computer controlled rewinders and
five state-of-the-art precision sheeters allow for any
roll or sheet size to meet customer requirements. |
