Increase the amount of fiber procured from certified forest lands or through certified fiber sourcing programs in the U.S. by 2020, and work with governments, industry and other stakeholders to promote policies around the globe to reduce illegal logging.
- We currently use Forest Stewardship Council approved pulps and recycled fibers and all of our Kromekote and SMART Matte papers are FSC certified.
- All the virgin pulp we use must be purchased on the open market. However, 100% of our virgin fiber suppliers are registered to a recognized standard of sustainable forestry. These suppliers are certified to either ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), the Canadian Standards Association Sustainable Forest Management (CAN/CSA-Z809) or the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
